Our trip to Idaho and Gearen's wedding

Holly Buell took Donise Price, Becky King and myself to California for a short week. Holly's son Jared could get us a trailer right on the beach. This is Donise looking over the ocean.
The beach where we spent a lot of time.
On one of the piers in the evening.
We are standing in front of the pier.
The weekend we went to Idaho for Delwyn's 50 class reunion was the same time as Gearen and Kylie Jackson's wedding. So they let us go to the temple with them. They are coming out of the temple.

Picture taking time.

This is Kylie with her mom Karen Gray.
Shannon, Gearen & Kurt
As we were leaving the Temple, we took a quick picture of the Falls by the Temple from the car window so it wasn't to good.
We were able to go through Logan and saw Uncle John and Aunt Larue and while we were there we went by the Temple in Logan. Many memories there because that is where we were right after we got married.
This is the new Brigham City Temple being constructed.
We were able to go to a session in the Oquirrh Mt. Temple.
And of course we got to walk the grounds of the SLC
Temple.

The last of our mission

Our last night in Barcelona! The Missionaries always go down to the Plaza Cataluna. These two Elders are Elder Lara and Elder Pynes.

Elder Roos
Hermana Stosich. She lives in Taunya Childers Ward
We are with President and Hermana Hinckley.
Two Sisters I can't remember their names, with President and Hermana and us.
Elder Oldroyd. He lives over in Mesa. Chad knows his parents. What a sweet heart.
Elder Johnson and Elder Corbitt. They were secretaries in the office.
Elder Croft
This man is the Ward Mission Leader in Barrio Dos.
Elder Abplanalp and Elder Harris

Elder Keller and Elder Cook
Elder Keller and a new Elder.
Elder , Elder Croft, Elder Oldroyd, and Elder McKinnon. Elder McKinnon was a fantastic singer.
Nanang at our little going away party after Church.
The Lunds, a sweet Sister who just joined the church, us and President and Hermana Hinckley
Hermana Lund gave us a going away dinner and this is President and Hermana with their son and his wife and boy. They were there visiting.
Our darling Hermana Lund and the feed she gave us all.
Carolina is Hermana Hinckley's helper in the Mission Home. I love her.
The Hadley's had us over to celebrate Kings day. This is the traditional cake that they serve. Inside it is a king and a rock. Who ever gets the king wins and who gets the rock has to do the dinner next year. I lost so they all said they would come down and see us and we will celebrate this again.
More of the floats at the Kings Day Parade.

Another picture of 3 Kings

We attended the parade for the 3 Kings. These are a few if the floats.

It is night now and this is a shot of the 3 Kings.
We went to the 3 Kings parade and it first started with the arrival of the Kings and all their royal people. There were many pretty flags they were carrying.

My Missionaries

Here is Archie again. What a great and wonderful friend to all missionaries. Here Archie, Elders Corbitt, Southwick, Hadley and Keller are singing "Amigo para Siempre" (Friends for Always)
Archie made us dinner again. He fed all of us in this picture. Seated: Hermana Lund, President and Hermana Hinckley, Hermana Hadley, me. Next row: Hermana Fuentes, Elder Corbitt, Elder Southwick, Archie, Delwyn, Elder Hansen, Hermana Johns, Hermana Strickland, Elder Keller. Top: Elder Lund, Elder Hadley, Elder Hadley, and Elder Lloyd
This is what he fed us. A chicken stew, egg rolls, a noodle dish, and rice for dessert we had a cake roll. Archie made it all and it was sooooo very good. I learned how to make the noodle dish because I love it so much.

We were out on the streets before Christmas so we are showing you the lights by our piso.
You can't see them very well, but these are above the street all up and down.
These were above the streets on another street.
The Ayudantes (Assistance) Elder Keller on top of Elder Southwick. They were decorating the tree in the office.
We cleaned the Elders piso, with their help too. This is Elder Crofts. After we cleaned the piso, we had lunch together.
Here are the rest of them. Elder McKinnon, Elder Oldroyd, Elder Crofts, Elder Keller, and us. These were a group of Elders that I loved also. They were so fun to be around and they were great missionaries.

Hermana Roerig with us. She was a wonderful Sister and one of the best Missionaries.
We had these Hermana's over for dinner one time. Hermana Roerig, Fuentes, Johns, Us, Stosich and Snow. Hermana Johns, Stosich and Snow came home the same time we did. Great missionaries.

Thanksgiving in the Mission Home

We are enjoying our dinner. It really tasted like home. From the left it is Elder Parry, Elder Keller (you can't see him) Elder and Hermana Lund. Janey Hardy and her mom Emily. Hermana Hinckley, President. The Assistance are there some place but you can't see them. Then Elder and Hermana Haldey, Delwyn's hands, Elder Corbitt and Elder Hadley.
Our buffet table before we started to eat. It was so good and we made good use of the food.
Delwyn stirring the gravy. I didn't want it to burn. He did a good job.
